TRACKING SUCCESS: Student coaching startup InsideTrack has merged with Strada Education Network, a newly formed nonprofit made up of companies focused on student success in higher ed. According to a press announcement, Strada Education will own InsideTrack, which will remain an “independent entity” under CEO Pete Wheelan.

“As student success has moved to the center of the national conversation on higher education, coaching has emerged as the lynchpin for improving outcomes,” Wheelan said in a prepared statement. “Strada Education’s alignment with our mission, strategic resources and broad network connections will enable us to accelerate progress on our efforts.”

Formed in 2001, InsideTrack claims to have served more than 1.5 million students through its college coaching and advising college platform. The company will join other members of Strada Education Network including DXtera Institute, Education at Work, Roadtrip Nation and Student Connections.
