Kim has been an editor and writer for more than 20 years, covering a wide range of career and education topics. She previously worked at Eli Research, and her articles have been published in dozens of print and digital publications.

Kim’s knowledge of the college admissions process has been honed by working privately with students over the past decade, helping them navigate the college application process. She has also led essay-writing workshops to assist high school students preparing to apply to college.

She holds degrees from American University and Wesleyan University.
