Thomas B. Mangas is the founder and CEO of Centerfire Capital, LLC, which advises and invests in leading consumer service and product businesses. He serves on the board of Tab Food Investments, a leading quick-service restaurant operator in Turkey and China with more than 2,500 restaurants. There, he is the chair of both their corporate governance and risk committees. He also serves on the board of Curacity, an early-stage hospitality technology company.
Previously, Mangas was the CEO of International Car Wash Group, the world’s largest car wash operator with nearly 900 sites in the United States, Europe, and Australia. During 2016, Mangas was the CEO of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., and previously served as its executive vice president and chief financial officer. Earlier in his career, he served as executive vice president and CEO of Armstrong Floor Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of floors and ceilings, and as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Armstrong World Industries, Inc. Mangas spent 20 years at the Procter and Gamble Co. in progressively senior roles, and served as vice president, finance and accounting, for the company’s global beauty and grooming business.
Mangas has deep experience with numerous growth-focused transactions (spins, mergers, and acquisitions), Wall Street interactions, capital allocations, regulatory compliance, technology development, and effective cost-reduction initiatives
Mangas earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and history from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and currently serves as vice chair of the UVA Alumni Association.
Mangas joined the Strada board in 2017 and currently serves as chair of the finance and audit committee and as a member of the compensation committee.
