Strada
Brian Hendrickson, interim head of communications, gives voice to Strada's mission to improve outcomes beyond the completion of a college degree or certificate by leading Strada's strategic communications and marketing efforts, promoting and amplifying the organization's research, grant making and investments, programming, events, and network collaboration.
With more than 20 years of journalism and strategic and crisis communications experience, he has overseen an array of project launches at Strada since joining the organization as senior content director in 2019, serving in project management and strategic communications roles on national marketing campaigns, partnership engagements, major project launches, and strategic planning efforts. In his current role, he serves on the Strada Executive Team and Strada Impact leadership team and leads Strada's strategic communications, content, creative, and marketing teams.
Before joining Strada, Hendrickson spent eight years at the NCAA, the last seven as director of strategic communications-membership communications, where his team managed externally facing governance communications for the national college sports governing body, developed compelling strategic communications storytelling content, and supported issues management and crisis communications. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from IUPUI in Indianapolis.
